Donald D. Meyer, 80 of Syracuse, passed away on March 1, 2021 at the Syracuse Hospital. He was born on June 19, 1940 to Harvey and Freda (Bruns) Meyer in Otoe.

Don married Carol Hinson on November 10, 1978 at the First Lutheran Church (North Branch). He worked as a mechanic at Strong Brothers Chevrolet for over 40 years and later worked at Kastens Ford. He enjoyed tinkering on small engines, working on projects and helping his neighbors.

Don is survived by his Wife: Carol Meyer; Son: Dan (Lisa) Meyer; Grandchildren: Dylan, Drew & Caitlyn; Siblings: Wilma Brethauwer, Dean (Diana) Meyer, Ralph Meyer, Irene (Roy) Dietrick, Lois (John) Groathouse; Brothers-in-law & Sisters-in-law: Marge Meyer, Diana (Maynard) Carlson, Barbara Becker, Herman (Cheryl) Gawart Jr.; also many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and Brothers: Alvin & Maynard Meyer.

Private funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 6 ^th .

Visitation with a closed casket will be held on Friday, March 5 ^th from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
