Don was born October 21, 1944, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Donald and Helen (Dill) Miner. He passed away, Saturday March 3, at Immanuel Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 62 years, 4 months, and 10 days.
Don joined the United States Army, and served from 1966 until his discharge in 1968. During his time in the military, he was stationed in Germany. He married Vicki Koterzina, on April 4, 1970, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, and to this union they raised two children, Donald Jr., and Joni.
Don worked at the Ash Grove Cement Plant for 19 years. Don worked on many Immanuel Lutheran Trustee's projects with father-in-law Frank Koterzina. He served on the Louisville Library Board. Don loved Art, Cars, Engines, Crossword Puzzles, Family, Friends, Music, Woodworking, Motorcycles, and Grandchildren.
Don (Duck) is survived by his wife Vicki Miner, of Louisville, NE, son Donald Jr., and wife Tandra Miner, of Granger, IA, daughter Joni and husband Joe Langfeldt, of Louisville, NE, 5 grandchildren Alyssa, Tori, Mckenzie, Nicholas, and Nolan, mother Helen Miner, of Louisville, NE, brothers John and wife Mary Ann Miner, of Emerson, IA, and Jerry and wife Kim Miner, Papillion, NE.
Don is preceded in death by his father Donald, sister Jean Ossenkup, and nephew, Micheal Miner.
