Donald D. Ross was born on May 3, 1935 to Albert Lee and Wauneta (Marston) Ross at Grand Island, Nebraska. He died on August 22, 2016 at Bellevue Medical Center, Bellevue, Nebraska at the age of 81 years, 3 months, and 19 days.

Donald served his country for four years in the Navy. He married Barbara Brasel on November 4, 1967 in Dow City, Iowa. To this union, they raised three children – a daughter – Randi and two sons – Doug and David. He worked as a field engineer, at Offutt Air Force Base. He loved to fix things and tinker with them. He built the house where they lived. He liked to hunt with both bow and rifle. He also enjoyed keeping current by reading many things about politics.

Family surviving Donald include his wife – Barbara Ross, daughter Randi (Rick) Theiler, sons – Doug (Ann) Ross and David (Cathy) Ross, and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and Brother Kenneth Ross.

A Memorial Service for Donald Ross will be Friday, August 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home Chapel, 413 Elm Street, Louisville, Nebraska. Family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers for later designation.

No Visitation due to cremation.
