Donald J. Seeba, 88 of Lincoln formerly of Cook, passed away on Monday June 27, 2016 at the Waterford in Lincoln. He was born to Henry William & Lena (Sinnen) Seeba on April 1, 1928 in Cook, NE.

Donald graduated from Cook High School and then joined the Army for 2 years. He later joined the Air Force where he served for 22 years. He married Elizabeth (Betty) Alexen on February 23, 1952 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Cook and to this union they had 4 children.

Donald was the owner of Seeba Hardware and TV in Cook. He was active in his community serving in the Cook American Legion and VFW, Grace Lutheran Church Council and the Lions Club. He was also on the city council in Cook and in Texas.

Donald is survived by his Son: Terry (Sarah) Seeba and his children, Robbie (Rhonda) Evans and family, Shelia (Pete) Ortiz and family, Lawanna (Wade) Powers and family; Daughter: Pat Seeba; Son: Dennis (Carla) Seeba and his children, Betsy Seeba-Walters and her daughter Eden, Laura (Travis) Solano and their daughter Leena, Ginnifer (Jeremie) Memming and their children Miles & Eleanor; Daughter: Susan Seeba; Sisters: Grace (Louis) Bentzinger of Cook, Leona Druin of Volin, SD, Izma Seeba of Nebraska City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, brothers Delmer and Glen.

Memorial Services will be held on July 8, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at Grace Lutheran Church in Cook. Inurnment will follow at Grace Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
