Donald E. Slosson was born on January 30, 1926, in Palmyra, Nebraska, to Harry and Hattie (Seymour) Slosson. He passed away on Saturday, December 04, 2010, at Silver Ridge Assisted Living in Gretna, Nebraska, at the age of 84 years, 10 months, and 4 days.

Don married Lucille Earl, on June 27, 1948, at the United Methodist Church, in Syracuse, and to this union they raised 4 children, Donna, Ronald, Janet, and Roger. Don worked for Omaha Public Power District for 42 years. Don is a member of Faith-Westwood United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge of Papillion, and worked with the Boy Scouts, for many years.

Don is survived by wife Lucille Slosson of Gretna, NE, Daughter, Donna K. Slosson of Omaha, NE, Son, Ronald H. and wife Cynthia Slosson of Ft. Collins, CO, Daughter, Janet L. and husband Roger Coffey of Omaha, NE, Son, Roger E. and wife Sheri Slosson of Omaha, NE Grandchildren, Tyler and Morgan Coffey, Margot and Julio Fuentes, Claire Slosson, Hanna and Sydney Slosson

Don is preceded in death by Parents, 2 Sisters and 1 Brother.

Memorial Services will be Wednesday December 8, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith-Westwood United Methodist Church, 4814 Oaks Lane, Omaha, Nebraska. After lunch, burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery, in Syracuse, Nebraska.
