Donita R. Rosenthal, 90 of Syracuse, passed away on April 28, 2019 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. She was born on October 12, 1928 to Alvin & Agnes (Schultz) Robinson in Tecumseh, NE.

After graduating high school Donita attended Peru State College where she received her teaching certificate. She then taught in country schools for 6 years. On October 16, 1952 she married Donald Rosenthal at the Grace Lutheran Church in Cook. Donita worked on the farm alongside Don. She enjoyed gardening and baking.

She is survived by her Husband: Donald Rosenthal; Children: Jerry Rosenthal, Jim (Sara) Rosenthal, Karen (Curt) Evasco, Kent (Monica) Rosenthal; Grandchildren: Jason (Kristy) Rosenthal, Jeffrey (Ada) Rosenthal, Chris (Bristol) Evasco, Justin Evasco, Travis Evasco, Jake Evasco, Alexander Rosenthal, Madeleine Rosenthal; 4 Great Grandchildren and Sister: Belva Jean Rosenthal.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Sister: Darlene Schulte and Brother: Walt Robinson.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 2nd at 10:30 A.M. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse. Burial will follow at Park Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1st from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with the family greeting friends from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to Luther Memorial Lutheran Church or Syracuse Good Samaritan Center.
