Donna Kerans was born February 25, 1929, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Waldon and Theodora (Fowler) Winters. She passed away on early Tuesday morning May 21, 2013, at Bergan Mercy Hopsital, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 84 years, 2 months, and 26 days.

She married Donald W. Kerans on February 1, 1946, in Nebraska City, Nebraska. To this union was born three sons, Michael, Daniel and Gerald Leon. Donna lived most of her life in Plattsmouth and Louisville area moving to Cedar Creek in recent years. She retired from Lucent Technologies after 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Michael, and sister Peggy. She is survived by sons Daniel and wife Marilyn Kerans, of Cedar Creek, NE, and Gerald Leon Kerans, of Louisville, NE, 6 grandchildren, Gary Kerans, Kim Sjogren, Nikki Beck (Jim), Jeff Kerans (Amy), Clinton Kerans (Elizabeth), Angie Dougherty (Justin), 14 great grandchildren, special niece Bonnie Curry and dear family friend Gene Seevers.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 24, 2013 at 10:00A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church, Hwy 66, and 84th Street, East of Louisville, Nebraska with burial at Riverview Cemetery, Louisville, Nebraska. Family Suggests Memorials to Christ Lutheran Church

Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 12 noon until 9:00 P.M. with the family at the Funeral home from 6 until 8 P.M.
