Donna I. McWilliams, 66, of Syracuse, passed away at home on June 5, 2026. She was born on January 22, 1960, to Ross & Frances (Royal) McWilliams in Syracuse. Donna graduated from Syracuse High School in the class of 1978.

Donna worked at the First National Bank in Syracuse for 40 years in various positions. She later ran a daycare and loved interacting with the kids. Donna was a faithful member of St. Paulinus Catholic Church, where she served as church secretary for 26 years and as a CCD teacher for more than 30 years. Donna was also actively involved in the Altar Society, holding multiple offices over the years. She found great joy in spending time with her nieces and nephews and cherished attending their many activities.

She is survived by her sisters Kathleen (Wayne) Schomerus, Diane (Ted) Oelke, Janet Oelke, Joyce Gilbert & Gary Weiler; brothers Daniel (Babette), Charles (Debra), David (MaryBeth), Keith (Tracy); her aunts and uncle, Ray and Carol McWilliams and Rosemary Kavanaugh; 26 nieces & nephews, as well as many many great nieces & nephews and great great nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant brother and brother-in-law Rex Oelke.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paulinus Catholic Church in Syracuse. The service will be livestreamed on the church Facebook page. Burial will follow at the Dudley Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home in Syracuse. Then at the church with family greeting friends from 6-7 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Memorials may be directed to the St. Paulinus Catholic Church.
