Dorothy L. Kunz, 95 of Syracuse, formerly of Eagle, passed away on October 7, 2019 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. She was born on September 6, 1924 to Elmer & Sarah (Tyson) Frohlich in Eagle.

Dorothy graduated from Eagle High School and then attended Lincoln School of Commerce. She married Harlan Kunz on September 1, 1943 at the United Methodist Church in Eagle. Dorothy worked on the farm with Harlan, as a bookkeeper for Rock Island Lumber Co. and for 17 years as a cook for the Eagle Schools. She was a member of the Women's Group and United Methodist Church in Eagle.

She is survived by her Daughter: Onalee (Ronnie) Schwartman of Elmwood; Granddaughter: Kandace (Dave) Adams of Lincoln; Grandson: Jason Bevans of Elmwood; Great Grandchildren: Sydney Ulrich of Norfolk, Nathan Ulrich of Lincoln, Colt Bevans of Elmwood; Sister: Betty Jo Haertel of Denver, CO; Nieces: Jan (Oleg) Dontsov and Judy (Michael) Sauer of Denver, CO.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Son: Merlin Kunz, Grandson: Kennon Schwartman and Brother: Ervin Frohlich.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12th at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Elmwood. Burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center or the Nebraska Hemophilia Foundation.
