Dorothy M. Lau, 81 of Murdock, passed away on December 5, 2018 in Lincoln, NE. She was born on September 13, 1937 to Houston & Ollie (Gibson) Iles in Cheneyville, Louisiana.

Dorothy married Vern Lau on October 16, 1954 in Alexandria, LA. She worked as a beautician and also at Metromail in Lincoln. Dorothy was the president of the local chapter during the American Agriculture Movement and also loved to cook.

She is survived by her Husband Vern, of Murdock, NE; Children: Allen Lau of New Richmond, WI, Scott Lau of Louisville, Doug (Deb) Lau of McDonald, KS, Shelly Lau of Murdock; 5 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 10 ^th at 10 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church located at 31104 Church Rd, Murdock, NE.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 9 ^th from 1 P.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home in Louisville.

Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
