Douglas R. Erhart, was born October 26, 1956 to Leo Erhart and Coralee (Hitt, Erhart) Hendrickson. Doug died February 10, 2019 in a car accident with his wife of 24 years, Donna Erhart. He was 62 years old.

Doug married Donna Brandes in 1994. They resided in Murdock, Nebraska. He was employed by Ash Grove Cement Co. in Louisville, Nebraska. Doug enjoyed watching the Huskers, hosting fish fry's and having a beer with anyone who stopped by the garage. When he wasn't helping family or a friend out, in his free time he enjoyed fishing, playing cards, shooting guns, and going to the horse races. He had pride watching his grandkids. When he bragged about their accomplishments, it put a huge smile on his face.

He is survived by his father Dale Hendrickson, five children, Nikki Ball and Ashley Erhart, Deric (Kimberley) Meisinger, Dana (Matt) Lambert, and Darci Meisinger; eleven grandchildren, Terrance, Talon & Tyson Ball, Drew & Audrey Erhart, Peyton Lambert and her fiancé T.J. Zaracki, Madi & Brantley Lambert, Kanin & Sierra McComb and Tessa Meisinger, and Grandpuppy Harley, siblings Dennis Erhart, Debra Woolhiser, and David Erhart; and Grand-puppy Harley.

He is preceded in death by father, Leo Erhart and mother Coralee (Hitt, Erhart) Hendrickson.

A Celebration of Doug's Life was held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Cass County Fair Grounds in Weeping Water, Nebraska
