Edna B. Parker

Edna Parker was born May 18, 1909, in Cambridge, Nebraska, to Harry & Mollie (Walker) Heather. She passed away, on December 6, 2012, at the Syracuse Care Center, at the age of 103 years, 6 months, and 18 days.
Edna married Chester Parker, in October 20, 1926, in Syracuse, Nebraska and to this union they raised three daughters Lorraine, Vivian, and Jean. She was a member of United Methodist Women, and served in all offices, Otoe County Farm Bureau Office for 11 years, A.S.C.S. Office for 6 years, Park Hill Cemetery Secretary / Treasurer for 25 years, Four Corner Extension Club 60 years, Bible Study held in her home for 35 year.
Edna is survived by her daughters Lorraine Seyersdahl, of Lincoln, NE, and Lola Jean Davison, of Syracuse, NE, 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, and 27 great-great grandchildren, her brother Delbert Heather, of Nebraska City, NE, also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Edna is preceded in death by her parents Harry & Mollie Heather, sister Thelma Barnes, husband Chester 1960, daughter Vivan Kreifels, grandson Gary Seyersdahl, granddaughter Joan Kreifels, son-in-laws Marvin Davison, Richard Seyersdahl, Henry Kreifels grandson Donald Kreifels, granddaughter Mary Smalley & grandson-in-law Bill Gesch.
Funeral Services for Edna Parker will be Wednesday December 12, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the United Methodist Church at 6th & Chestnut, Syracuse, NE, with burial at Park Hill Cemetery. Family suggest memorials to the Syracuse United Methodist Church.
Visitation for Edna will be Monday from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. and Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., with the family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
