Edna R. Wert Liesemeyer 90, of Syracuse, NE was born on June 2, 1923 in Verdon, NE to Herman & Mae (Holterman) Schulze. She passed away on December 19, 2013 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center.

Edna married Lloyd Wert in 1943. After Lloyd passed away she married Graydon Liesemeyer in 1969. Edna worked at Daylight Donuts in Syracuse for many years.

Edna is survived by her Son: Jim Wert & wife Mary of Fairbury, Grandchildren: Michael Wert of Lincoln, Steve & Brenda Scholl of Falls City, John & Lori Caporale of Lincoln, Tom Scholl of Falls City, Robin & Allen Hilligoss of Lincoln, Kevin Stewart of Falls City, and 11 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Sister, Daughter, Great Grandson and Both Husbands.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday December 23 at 10 A.M at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Chapel in Syracuse, NE.

Visitation will be held on Sunday December 22 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 1 until 3 P.M. at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Prospect Cemetery near Humboldt, NE.

The family suggests memorials to the Donor's Choice.
