Eileen Carolyn was born at home in Murdock, Nebraska to Paul and Malinda (Jung) Kupke, on September 1, 1929. She went to be with her God and husband Elmer on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the age of 89 years, 8 months, and 21 days.

Eileen was baptized on September 22, 1929, at Trinity Lutheran Church at Murdock, Nebraska. She was confirmed on April 18, 1943 at Trinity Lutheran Church. She graduated from Murdock High School, and later married Elmer Guehlstorff on December 3, 1950 at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Eileen was always working with people.  She had been a waitress earlier in their marriage.  Most recently, she worked at Platte River State Park. She enjoyed feeding birds, fishing and being with her family.

Eileen is survived by her 2-Sons: Gary and wife Bernadean, of Murdock, Nebraska, and James and wife Denise of Marshall, Texas, grandchildren Becky (Daniel) Hoo of Marshall, TX, and Rachel (Nathaniel) Longacre of Midland, TX; step grandchildren, Jody McKay of Greenwood, NE, Deanna (Tim) Rorie of Elmwood, NE, Danine (Mark) Dodillet of Yellville, AR;  and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Elmer in 1996, her brothers Wayne Kupke, and Paul Oliver Kupke.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 1 ^st at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 31104 Church Road, Murdock, Nebraska, with burial at the Church Cemetery. Family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church, or Open Door Mission.

Visitation will be Friday, May 31, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 6:00 P.M. all at Trinity Lutheran Church, 31104 Church Road, Murdock, NE
