Eldean L. Vogt, 92, of Elmwood, passed away on June 1, 2015, in Lincoln. She was born on November 19, 1922, in Syracuse to Fritz & Lena (Puvogel) Stubbendick.

Eldean married Howard Vogt on August 15,1946, at the First Lutheran Church (North Branch) in Avoca. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Elmwood.

Eldean is survived by her children Barbara (Clayton) Miller of Elmwood, Donald (Sharon) Vogt of Lincoln, Kathleen Peterson and friend Rex Staub of Des Moines, IA; daughter-in-law Nancy Vogt of Elmwood; son-in-law Thomas Peterson of Elmwood; grandchildren Nikki (John) Yost of Gretna, Craig (Carrie) Miller of Gretna, Aaron (DeAnne) Peterson of Murray, IA, Chad Peterson of Gretna; step grandchildren Kelly (John) Hyer of Centennial, CO, Kathy (Sean) Kelly of Papillion; great grandchildren Derek, Haley, Kenzie Peterson, Easton and Emersyn Miller, Andie Yost; step great grandchildren John, Faith, Austin Hyer, Riley and Spencer Kelly.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard, son LeRoy, infant grandson, brother and sister in law Lawrence and Pearl Stubbendick.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015, from 1- 8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Elmwood.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Elmwood.

Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials to the Elmwood Community Center, Elmwood Rescue Squad, St. Paul United Methodist Church of Elmwood or Elmwood Cemetery.
