Eldon Marvin Fuxa, age 93 of Cedar Creek, Nebraska passed away peacefully at the Life Care Center of Elkhorn on September 10, 2026. Born on November 19, 1932, in Ord, Nebraska to Leonard and Lydia (Toner) Fuxa,

Eldon graduated from Omaha South High School in 1950, and shortly thereafter, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving honorably during the Korean War from 1953 to 1955. Following his military service, he joined Erv Holst Construction, where he lent his expertise as a construction worker for many years, contributing to the building of homes, apartments, and various commercial properties.

Later in life, Eldon married Gloria E. True on May 21, 1998, in South Dakota. Together, they cultivated a beautiful life filled with love and shared interests. Eldon was an active member of the Henry A. Newman American Legion Post #353 in Louisville, where he managed the Club and Bar for many years. He was also a lifetime member of both the Lepert Wolever V.F.W. Post 2543 in Plattsmouth and the South Omaha Eagles Club.

Eldon's passions extended to the great outdoors, where he enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting deer, geese, and ducks. He was also an avid gardener and occasionally indulged in trips to the casino. Known for his remarkable math skill, he served as treasurer for the Louisville Rod and Gun Club for many years. Eldon and Gloria shared a special bond over their love for dancing Polkas.

Eldon is survived by his wife, Gloria Fuxa of Cedar Creek, NE, and his children: Kris (Alex) Ernsberger, of Omaha, NE Jackie Fuxa & Ken Killian of Papillion, NE, Joe (Terri) Fuxa of Cedar Creek, NE, Jean (Jim) Ruffner of LaVista, NE, and Joan Fuxa of Gretna, NE. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren along with his brothers, Leonard (LaVonne) Fuxa, Jr. of Cedar Creek, NE and Jim (Roxanne) Fuxa of Colorado Springs, CO.

Eldon was preceded in death by his parents Leonard & Lydia Fuxa, and brothers Bob Fuxa and Jerry Fuxa

A memorial service will be held on September 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home, Louisville Chapel.
