Ellen Ada Royal was born February 28, 1923, in Unadilla, Nebraska, to Dick
and Francis (Page) Brinkman. She passed away Thursday, October 18th, at the Good Samaritan Center, in Syracuse, Nebraska, at the age of 84 years, 7 months, and 20 days.

Ellen graduated from Unadilla High School, and was named Valid Victorian of her graduating class. She married Laurence Royal, on February 12, 1942, at St. Leo's Catholic Church, in Palmyra, and to this union they had 4 children, Ruth, Marvin, Dallas, and Marlene. Ellen was a member of Extension Club, St Paulinus Altar Society, Card Club, and she loved the Nebraska City Travel Logs.

Ellen is survived by her husband Laurence, of Unadilla, NE, sons Dallas and wife Cheryl Royal, of Unadilla, NE daughter Marlene and husband Gail Neumeister, of Peru, NE, 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren, along with her sister Evelyn Brameir, of Syracuse, NE, and brother Dick Binkman, of Cook, NE

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, son Marvin, daughter Ruth, and brother Edward Brinkman

7:00 P.M. both at St. Paulinus Catholic Church, 863 5th Street, Syracuse, NE
