Elton S. Fey was born on March 15, 1914 in Unadilla, Nebraska to Edwin and Emma (Newcomer) Fey. He passed away at his home in Syracuse, Nebraska on Monday, August 31, 2009 at the age of 95 years, 5 months and 16 days.

Elton was raised in Otoe County and graduated from Douglas High School. He was united in marriage on April 5, 1939 to Lois L. Turner in Prairie Home, Nebraska. Elton farmed for many years and also worked as a the custodian for the Dunbar School. He was also a member of the Dunbar Presbyterian Church.

Elton is survived by his : Wife: Lois Fey of Syracuse, NE; Children: Norma Cedzidlo of Houston, TX; Gary Fey and wife Pat of Lincoln, NE: Marge Windish and husband Gary of Santa Monica, CA; Jim Fey and wife Peggy of South Bend, NE; Sister: Hazel Houston of Ankey, IA; 14 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.

he was preceded in death by his parents, son, Roger Fey and grandson Eric Fey

A private family graveside service will be held at the Hopewell Cemetery in Rural Unadilla, Nebraska

Public Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Fusselman-Wymore Funeral Home, Syracuse, Nebraska.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 7 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
