Elvera Anna Riensche was born on November 23, 1924 in Otoe County, Nebraska to Walter & Amanda (Landwehr) Vollertsen. She was baptized & confirmed at St.
Paul's United Church of Christ (Osage). She passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 88 years and 21 days.




Elvera married Clarence Budt on July 15, 1945 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ (Osage) and together they raised Gordon, Wayne and Janet. Clarence passed away in 1969. Elvera married Bernard Riensche on August 16, 1973 and became a member of Grace Lutheran Church, in Cook, NE. Bernard passed away in
2002.

Elvera worked with the Dairy Farm & Farming and also worked at Brammeier's Locker. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Legion Auxiliary, Friendly Farmeretts Extension Club, and served as a 4-H leader. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, bowling, playing cards, and tying blankets for World Relief. She was proud of the handmade quilts she made for each of her Grandchildren. Elvera always looked forward to the vacations taken with the entire family.

Michelle (Sean) Miller, Houston, TX, Rachel (Ryan) Trampe, Amherst, NE, Stephanie Budt, Roeland Park, KS, Diana (Austin) Klein, Papillion, NE, Grandsons: Paul Budt, Laredo, TX, Jon (Dawn) Budt, Rapid City, SD, David (Sara)
Budt, Bozeman, MT, Great Grandchildren: Dalton, Breanna, Cooper, Acelyn, Braxton, Samuel & Thomas. Sisters-in-law: Iva Dell Vollertsen, Elva Mae Riensche,
Arlene Sillman, Also many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husbands Clarence Budt & Bernard Riensche, Brother: Melvin Vollertsen, Brothers-in-law & Sisters-in-law: Vernon &
Ruth Riensche, Gerry Sillman, John & Ruth Freudenberg

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ (Osage) in rural Cook, NE.

Burial will be at St. Paul's United Church of Christ (Osage) Cemetery in rural Cook, NE.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family's choice.
