Esther M. Erhart, 98 of Syracuse, passed away on December 31st, 2021, at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. She was born on September 1st, 1923, to Adolph & Bertha (Brinton) Kunz in Elmwood. On December 12th, 1946, Esther married William F. Erhart in Manley. They were married 40 years until he passed away in 1987. Esther worked multiple jobs including nursing home aid, school cook and homemaker. She was a member of the American Legion Aux. since 1963.
She is survived by her Daughter Patricia (Steve) Houston of Weeping Water, Daughter Barbara Baier of Weeping Water, Son Robert (Annette) Erhart of Weeping Water. Half Brothers Harvey & Jerry. Half Sisters Nancy & Mary Elaine. Numerous Grand Children, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, Brother-in-law & Sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her Parents Adolph & Bertha Kunz, Husband William Erhart, Son Lyle Erhart, Son-in-Law Dwain Nielsen, Great Grandson Austin Baier, and Son-in-Law Michael Baier.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 8th at 10 a.m. at St. Paulinus Catholic Church in Syracuse. The service will be livestreamed on the church Facebook page. A rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery near Manley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 7th from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Syracuse.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
