Esther J. Kuhn was born June 11, 1912 in Ashland, Nebraska, to Lawrence and Sarah (Saylors) Ward. She passed away April 8, 2008, at the Ambassador in Nebraska City, Nebraska, at the age of 95 years, 9 months, and 28 days.

Esther married Glen John Kuhn, on May 12, 1928, in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and to this union they raised Jack, Roger Lynda, and Sally. She loved to work with crafts, and making apple dolls. Esther also enjoyed pinocle, card club, and having a garden.

Esther is survived by her children Jack Kuhn, of Ashland, Roger, of Louisville, NE, Lynda and Harry Larson, of Nebraska City, NE, 8 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, Special Cousin Lilly Cox, Louisville, NE, and son-in-law, Howard Sack.

Esther is preceded in death her parents, husband Glen, daughter Sally, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and daughters-in-law Donna and Dixie Kuhn.

Funeral Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Fusselman Wymore Funeral Chapel, 413 Elm, Louisville, Nebraska,with burial at South Bend Cemetery, South Bend, Nebraska

Visitation: Wed 1-9, family will greet from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
