Ezra Dain Attebery, 13 of Vevay, IN formerly of Cook, NE passed away on June 5, 2019 at his home. He was born on December 17, 2005 to George Childers and Cara Attebery in Nebraska City, NE. Ezra attended Johnson County Central through 6th grade.

Ezra excelled at sports especially football and baseball. He enjoyed playing his Xbox, working on science projects, listening to music and collecting rocks. Ezra loved to nurture animals and take care of his family. His family described him as funny, sweet, smart, caring and the best big brother.

He is survived by his Parents: Cara Attebery & Sean Webb, George & Keren Childers; Siblings: Ashlynn Webb, Raelyn Childers, Atlas Childers; Grandparents: Jerry Attebery, George Childers Sr., Timothy Weber & Joyce Attebery-Weber, Raymond (Diane) Neeman; Great Grandparents: Helen Attebery, Marvin Attebery, Connie Gress, Keith (Eunice) Weber; Aunts & Uncles: Tristan Attebery & Fiancé Erika Hunzeker, Linda (Dan) Boden, Amy (Matt) Dehart; also many extended family.

He was preceded in death by his Great Grandfather: Robert Gress Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 10th at 10 A.M. at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nebraska City. Burial will follow at the Cook cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 9th from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
