Fern L. G. Neemann, 88 of Syracuse passed away on December 2, 2014 at the Syracuse Community Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 25, 1926 to Henry & Margaret (Fastenau) Freudenberg in Gurley, NE.

Fern married Vernon Eldon Neemann on December 18, 1945 in Otoe, Nebraska. She was a Lifetime member of VFW Auxiliary, taught Sunday school for 13 years and volunteered at the Syracuse grade school.

She is survived by her Children: Glenn (Kathie) Neemann of Lincoln, Bruce (Becki) Neemann of Syracuse, Peggy Neemann of Lincoln, Grandsons: Mark (Brenda) Neemann, Matt (Brandie) Neemann, Thomas (Megan) Neemann of Lincoln, Granddaughters: Brianne (Marcus) Wilhelm, Lindsay Neemann of Omaha, Great Grandchildren: Claire, Jack, Nathan, Noah, Brooke & Luke of Lincoln, Charlie & Oliver of Omaha. Sister: Phyllis (Richard) Ladine of Gurley, NE, Sister-in-law: Marvel Moore of Gurley, NE, Brother-in-law: Norman (Hilma) Neemann of Syracuse, also numerous nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Husband Vernon, Parents, Brothers & Sisters

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 6, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse. Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Luther Memorial Lutheran Church or the Syracuse Hospital Auxiliary.

Visitation will be held on Friday December 5 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.
