Obituary
Francis Eugene Carter, was born January 16, 1920 in Sarpy County, to William and Hester (Sack) Carter. He passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at his home in Sarpy County, at the age of 88 years, 8 months, and 25 days.
Francis married Anna Wilson on June 24, 1944, in Papillion, Nebraska, and to this union they raised their daughter Sharon. He served in the United States Army from 1943 until 1946- some of which was in the Pacific Theater. Francis worked as Foreman for Ash Grove for 35 ½ years. He loved to go hunting and fishing.
Francis is survived by his wife Anna, of rural Gretna, NE, daughter Sharon Mason and special friend Robert Hallett, granddaughters Shawn Chapman & husband James Callahan, and Sherrie Kinard and husband Lang, great grandchildren Thomas Yeater III, Kirsten Chapman, and Evan and Zachary Kinard, sister Ruby Deloske, and sister-in-law Evelyn Carter.
Francis is preceded in death his parents William & Hester Carter, brothers Charles, Chakley, Ross, Nicholas, and Harley.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 12 noon until 9 P.M., with family greeting friends from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. all at the Funeral Home, 413 Elm, Louisville, NE.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at the Fusselman Wymore Funeral Chapel, 413 Elm, Louisville, Nebraska 68037, with burial at the Springfield Cemetery, Springfield, Nebraska, Memorials are suggested to the Families Choice.
