Frank E. Koterzina, Jr. was born July 18, 1937, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Frank & Lonella (Vogler) Koterzina Sr. He passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at his home at the age of 75 years, and 22 days,.

Frank married Mary Lou Bender, on November 15, 1969, at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Together they raised 4 children – Christine, Kelly, Kirk, and Kevin Bender. Frank was a salesman for Copple Chevrolet in Louisville. He served on the Louisville Library Board. Frank loved lawn care activities, working on his computer, and watching the history and cooking channels. He especially enjoyed camping. Frank served in the United States Army.

Frank is survived by his Wife: Mary Lou Koterzina of Omaha, NE; Sister: Vicki Price and husband Terry of Ashland, NE; Step-Daughter: Christine Forell and husband Bruce of Arcadia, CA; Step-Sons: Kelly Bender of Omaha, NE; Kirk Bender and wife Leslie of Omaha, NE; 6 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; 6 Nieces and 1 Nephew. Loving Caregivers: Tammy Barton-Fox, Brenda Fox, Allison Ortiz, Mike Caldwell.

He was preceded in Death by parents, brother, Richard Koterzina; brother-in-law: Don Miner, step-son: Kevin Bender; great granddaughter Kaia Marie Bender.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rural Louisville, NE.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral Home.
