Franklin "Nick" Nickolson was born April 20, 1951, in Quincy, Indiana to Franklin and Betty (Harrison) Nickolson. He died Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Lakeside Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 64 years, 8 months, and 28 days.

Nick married Rita Reed, on October 24, 1975, in Iowa, and to this union they raised Duaine, Casey, and Michele. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He loved being outdoors fishing, hunting, mowing, and picking up cans.

Nick is survived by his wife Rita, children Duaine and Chaley, Casey and Jessie, and Michele and 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents Franklin and Betty, two brothers and a sister

Memorial services will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Crossroads Church, Hwy 50 and Hwy 1 South of Louisville. Memorials are suggested to Family in lieu of flowers.

No visitation due to cremation.
