Frieda E. Straube of Syracuse, formally of Burr, Nebraska passed away on December 28, 2012 at the age of 80 years, 8 months, and 13 days.

Frieda was born in rural Adams, Nebraska to Henry J. & Grace (Harms) Buss. She married Ralph Straube on March 8, 1953 at the American Lutheran Church in Adams, Nebraska.

She is survived by her Husband Ralph Straube, Children: Lyle (Tamrah) Straube, Joyce (Stephen) Hickman, Doris (Jim) Mannison, Lee (Genny) Straube, Jim Straube, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Brothers, Sister, Nieces, Nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her Parents: Henry J. & Grace Buss, Brother: Laverne Buss, Sister: Luella Prange and a Great Grandchild.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

The family suggests memorials to the Burr Rescue Squad.
