Gail Irene Harrington, age 66, of Syracuse, passed away June 15, 2023, at the Syracuse Hospital. She was born March 14, 1957, at St. Mary's Hospital in Nebraska City. Gail was the beloved daughter of Dale and Rose Marie (Martinez) Ganzel.

On October 29, 1976, Gail married the love of her life, Ronald Harrington, at Dunbar Presbyterian Church. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. Throughout her life, Gail dedicated 30 years to working at Wheaton Tubing, where she served as a packing and quality inspector. She took great pride in her work and made lasting friendships with her colleagues. In her leisure time, Gail pursued various interests and hobbies. She had a talent for crafting, crocheting, and playing the piano. Gail enjoyed indulging in music, playing games, and reading. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her great niece and nephews, whom she lovingly gave rides to on her scooter. Gail was an animal lover and had a special place in her heart for her dogs. Her contagious smile brightened the lives of those around her and left an enduring impact.

Gail is survived by her devoted husband Ronald Harrington and their loving son Christopher Harrington, her cherished sister, Julie Anderson and her nieces and nephews, Joshua (Tanya) Anderson, Rebecca (Len) Peterson, and Jessica (Johannas) Hedges. She also leaves behind her adoring great nieces and nephews and her uncle Robert Ganzel. Gail was preceded in death by her parents, her infant sister Sherri, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Helen and Waldo Harrington, as well as several aunts and uncles.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Gail will be held Monday, June 19th, at 10:30 AM at the Syracuse Bible Church, Pastor Fred Anderson presiding. The funeral will be livestreamed on the Harvey Funeral Facebook page for those unable to attend in person. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 18th from 9 AM until 8 PM, with family greeting friends from 4 - 6 PM, at the funeral home in Syracuse. Burial will be held at Park Hill Cemetery in Syracuse.

Memorials may be directed to the Syracuse Rescue Squad.
