Gary L. Beckfeldt, 72 of Lincoln, passed away on May 23, 2016 at his home. He was born on September 25, 1943 in Syracuse, Nebraska to Henry J. Beckfeldt Jr. & Myrtle E. (Rodaway) Beckfeldt.

Gary worked at Randy's Donuts for several years. He enjoyed dancing at Lincoln Park & Rec. Social Club, bowling, dominoes, puzzles, and coloring. In addition, he was a long time Athlete with Shooting Stars on the Special Olympic Team.

Gary is survived by his Sister; Madonna (Greg) Bell of Mequon, WI; Brother-in-law, Delbert Martin of Beatrice, NE; Sister-in-law, Deborah (Gordon) Lofgreen of Kansas City, MO; Nieces & Nephews: Carol (Rick) Strunk, Sharon Rosenthal, Ricky (Jane) Samland, Deb Santee, Butch Samland; and many great nieces & nephews, and great great nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; Sister, Ruth Martin; Brothers: Carl Gordon, Ray Beckfeldt, and Henry Beckfeldt III.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27th at 2:30 P.M. at Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Chapel in Syracuse. Burial will be held at First Lutheran Cemetery (North Branch) in rural Avoca NE.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26th from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.
