Gary N. Brizendine was born in Lawrence, KS, on November 25, 1946, and died on April 27, 2016, in Omaha, NE. He attended Lawrence High School. In 1964, his senior year, he moved to Bonner Springs, KS, where he graduated in 1965. Gary excelled in sports and loved competing . He joined the Marines where he served bravely in Vietnam. He eventually moved to Omaha where he worked at Ash Grove Cement Co. Gary is preceded in death by his Cliff Brizendine.

Survivors include his wife, Valerie his daughters Michelle, April, and Krystal, step children Courtney, Adam and Tony, his mom Jean, of Bonner Springs, siblings, Carol Jordan(Harold), Roger (Linda ), Terri Anderson (Lars), Jeff (Fon), and Aaron (Amy) and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Cremation.
