Gary A. Hudson, 85, of Louisville, passed away June 2, 2021, at the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha. He was born on July 4, 1935, to Roy and Ruzina (Colbert) Hudson in Altamont, KS. On February 26, 1965, Gary married his lovely wife, Doris. To their union, they added two sons, Gary and Roy.

For twenty years, Gary served his country as a member of the Air Force. After retirement from the military, he had more free time to enjoy the things he loved. These included spending time with his family, fishing, and being a freemason.

Gary is survived by his sons, Gary Hudson of Tampa, FL and Roy (Shellie) Hudson of Louisville; his grandchildren, Dustin Fickler, Sarah (Zach) Loftus and Colton (Megan) Fickler; his great grandchildren Grace and Cooper Loftus; his sisters-in-law: Patricia Strong and Erica Hudson as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ruzina Hudson and his wife Doris Hudson.

A private family service will be held at the Omaha National Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials to the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha.
