Gayle E. Parker, 88 of Syracuse, NE, passed away on April 21, 2014 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. He was born to Ray & Nellie (Farnsworth) Parker in rural Palmyra, NE.

Gayle married Vivian Master on June 8, 1949 at the United Methodist Church in Syracuse, NE. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic. He belonged to the American Shetland Pony Assoc. and enjoyed showing & judging horses. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great grandson.

Gayle is survived by his Wife: Vivian, Son: Brad (Mary) Parker, Daughter: Tami (Michael) Resso, Grandchildren: Amy Resso, Kyle (Emily) Parker, Travis Parker, Great Grandson: Maverick Parker, also many nieces & nephews.

Gayle is preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers & sisters, parents-in-law: Claude & Amy Masters.

Funeral Services will be Thursday April 24 at 10:30 A.M. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse. Interment will be at Park Hill Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the United Methodist Church in Syracuse.

Visitation will be Wed. April 23 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
