George Keith Block, 78 of Unadilla passed away at home on April 28, 2015. He was born on July 20, 1936 in rural Unadilla to George J. & Helen A. (Weible) Block.

Keith married Alberta Eisenhauer on June 3, 1960 at the Hope Lutheran Church in Burr. He worked for Unadilla as the Village Maintenance man. He was very active in church where he served on the church board. He was also a member of the Unadilla Fire Department.

Keith is survived by his Wife: Alberta, Sons: Richard (Annette) Block, Thomas (Shelly) Block, Grandchildren: Jennifer (Chris) Foley, Chelsea Block, Kylea Block, Great Grandchildren: Olivia & Saige Foley, Brother: Kenneth (Ardyth) Block, Sisters: Virginia Buchanan, Janice Kempf, Betty (Michael) Burke.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brother: Clyde Block, Granddaughter: Stephanie Block, Great Grandson: Asher Foley, Brothers-in-law: Rex Buchanan, Glen Kempf, Nephew: David Block.

Memorials Services will be held on Friday May 1, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at Hope Lutheran Church in Burr. Private burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery.

The family will divide memorials between Hope Lutheran Church, Luther Memorial Lutheran Church and Unadilla United Methodist Church.

Family will greet friends on Thursday April 30 from 6-8 P.M. at the Duncan Building in downtown Unadilla. No Viewing.
