Obituary
George "Joe" Vervaecke was born November 15, 1916, in South Omaha, Nebraska, to Rudolf and Zulma (Decock) Vervaecke. He passed away, at his home on the Farm, Sunday May 17, 2009 at the age of 92 years, 6 months, and 2 days.
Joe married Lena Kobler, on December, 24, 1953, in Papillion, Nebraska, and to this union they raised their son George. He was a member of the Co-op, and loved to Fish and play Cards, but his love was his family, stopping by to help walk Beans, play Cards, have a Meal, or just a Phone Call to say HI.
Joe is survived by his son George Vervaecke, of Louisville, NE, brother Cyril Vervaecke and wife Darlene, of South Bend, NE, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Joe is preceded in Death by his parents, wife Lena, sister Lorraine Keckler, and brother Maurice.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at 10;30 A. M. at the, Fusselman Wymore Funeral Chapel, 413 Elm, Louisville, NE
Family Suggests Memorials To the Families Choice
VISITATION will be Tuesday from noon until 9 P.M. with the family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8 P.M., all at the funeral home. The Casket will be opened one hour before services at the Chapel.
