Gerald "Jerry" R. Erisman, 84 of Syracuse, passed away on February 21 ^st , 2021 in Lincoln. He was born on October 12 ^th , 1936 to Claude Sr. & Effie (DeBuhr) Erisman in Auburn.

After graduating high school, Jerry served honorably in the National Guard. He married Janet Schutz on November 12 ^th , 2010 in Auburn. He worked as a truck driver, mostly hauling new cars. Jerry also used to serve as a part time deputy in Kidder, MO. He was an avid antique tractor collector and was a member of the Nebraska Antique Farming Association. Jerry loved spending time with his grandchildren and will be remembered as a jokester.

He is survived by his Wife: Janet Schutz-Erisman of Syracuse; Children: Galen (Renee) Erisman of Vine Grove, KY, Cindy (Randy) Curtis of Kidder, MO, Matthew (Roxanne) Schutz of Otoe, Amy (Jeremy) Wander of Syracuse, Travis (Jacqueline) Schutz of Huntsville, AL; Grandchildren: Cherry (Marko) Radovic of Germany, Katrina Erisman of Bland, MO, Matheuw (Amanda) Erisman of Liberty, MO, Randy Curtis of St. Joe, MO, Spenser Curtis of Cameron, MO, Kimberly (Zachary) Richardson of Lenexa, KS, Kirsten, Danielle & Jacob Schutz of Otoe, Owen, Carter & Liam Wander of Syracuse, Troy, Illyra, Damien, Niklaus Schutz of Huntsville, AL; 5 Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Claude Erisman Jr. of Humboldt, Bill (Sherry) Erisman of Des Moines, IA, Christine (Wayne) Schulz of Beatrice; Sister-in-law: Yvonne Erisman of Omaha; also many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and Brother: Norman Erisman.

Public funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27 ^th at 2:00 P.M. at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home in Syracuse. Masks required. It will be livestreamed on the Fusselman Facebook page. Burial will follow at the Sheridan Cemetery in Auburn.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 26 ^th from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
