Glenn Herman Kirchhoff 82, Syracuse, formerly of Weeping Water, died peacefully at home with family at his bedside on Monday (9/15/08). Born March 30, 1926 at Weeping Water, Neb. to Hy D. and Mary (Minderman) Kirchhoff.
Married Gladys Freudenberg on April 15, 1953 at the First Lutheran Church (North Branch), rural Avoca, Neb. He was a Farmer, Bin Mover and Artist. U.S. Marine Corp WWII Veteran - Spent time in China. Member: V.F.W. Post #5547 and American Legion Post #0237.
Survived by: wife, Gladys Kirchhoff; daughters, Diane Reuss and husband, John, Weeping Water; Vicki Kirchhoff and life companion, Jay Carstens, Lincoln; brothers, Dick Kirchhoff, Las Vegas, Nev.; Dr. Leo Kirchhoff, Chico, Calif.; sister, Erma Bettinger and husband, Bernie, St. Paul, Minn.; nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Preceded in Death by: parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Fred & Minna Freudendberg.
