Gudrun Sullivan, 83, of Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of Louisville, passed away January 25, 2023 at Bergan Mercy hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born October 22, 1939, in Braunschweig, Germany to Werner and Charlotte (Welzel) Fuerderer. Gudrun married Cornelius Sullivan on November 28, 1989.

Throughout her life, Gudrum worked both in the finance field, doing accounting and banking, as well as working as a seamstress on bedspreads and curtains at Monticello. She has two daughters, Chris and Nancy.

Gudrum is survived by her daughters Chris York of Omaha, Nebraska, and Nancy (Curt) Watson of Chubbick, Idaho; her grandchildren, Gatlin Groberg of Charlotte, North Carolina and Brianna (Jim) Cogdill of Kimbellton, Iowa; and her brothers Jochen Fuerderer and Dieter Fuerderer, both of Germany.

Her parents and her husband, Cornelius,  precede her in death.
