Harold "Bud" Hespen, 85 of Syracuse passed away on January 23, 2014 in Lincoln, NE. He was born to Fred & Anna (Beckfelt) Hespen on January 29, 1928 in Syracuse, NE.
Harold married Carol Parrish on June 6, 1959 in Seneca, KS. Bud served in the Air Force. Bud belonged to the VFW, American Legion, and Disabled American Veterans. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Business Owner.
Bud is survived by Sons: Lyle (Teresa) Hespen of Eagle, NE, Joel Hespen & friend Kim Williams of Beatrice, NE, Grandchildren: Bridget (Dustin) Bogle, Amber (Jay Thomas) Hespen, Tracey (Neil) Falk, Wendy (Matthew) Post, Tyler Hespen, Great Grandchildren: Lily & Sam Bogle, Brian & Byranna Post, Kayson Hespen, Brandon Keaton, Ethan Falk, Brother: Fritz (Norma) Hespen, Sister: Doris Sheehan.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, wife Carol, Brothers: Raymond, Donald & Gillard Hespen.
Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 28 at 10:30 A.M. at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Chapel.
Burial at Park Hill Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Family's Choice.
Visitation will be held on Sun. Jan. 26 from 1 – 9 P.M. and Mon. Jan 27 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. at the funeral home.
