Harvey A. Sudman was born on July 1, 1920 in Rural Avoca, Nebraska to Kord F. and Anna D. (Heine) Sudman. He passed away on Monday, September 17, 2007 at his home in Syracuse surrounded by family.

He was baptized and confirmed at the Frist Lutheran Church (North Branch). An avid farmer raising livestock and crops. He served on the church board and school board. He was united in marriage on June 1, 1947 to Melda Niemann at St. Paul's United Church of Christ Church (Osage) in rural Cook, Nebraska.

He is survived Wife: Melda Sudman of Syracuse, NE; Children: Terry Sudman and wife Gloria of Syracuse, NE; Jill Brenning of Cheney, NE; Dalyce Sudman of Syracuse, NE and special friend Kristy Teten of Nebraska City, NE; 8 Grandchildren: Melissa Bruce and husband Matthew of Louisville, NE; Rebecca Sudman of Nashville, TN; Wesley Sudman of Louisville, NE; Chris Brenning and wife Danielle of Lincoln, NE; Andrea Brenning of Lincoln, NE; Brandon Brenning of Cheney, NE; Corey and Dylan Sudman of Syracuse, NE, 4 Great Grandchildren: Jacob, Luke and Abigail Bruce and Jaxon Brenning. Sister: Lillian Hall and husband Willard of Elmwood, NE; Brother-in-law: G.R. (Bob) Rutledge of Library, PA; Sister-in-law: Lucille Kreifels of Syracuse, NE: Brother-in-law: Eldred Niemann and wife Sally of Cook, NE; Also survived by nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death Parents, Son: Thomas Lynn Sudman, Daughter: Camille Ann Sudman, Son-in-law: Bradley Brenning, Great Grandson, Justin Bruce, 5 brothers and 6 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 1:30 P.M. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ (Osage) in Rural Cook, NE with Rev. Bharat Surender officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 18th from 2:00 until 9:00 PM and Wednesday, September 19th from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM. at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the St. Paul's UCC Church (Osage) or Tabitha Hospice.
