FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 4th, 2011, at 10:30 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church 222 Walnut St. Louisville, NE, with burial at Glendale Cemetery.
VISITATION Monday from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00.

Obituary for Hattie Barnes
Hattie Lucille (Meisinger) was born on October 17, 1910 in Mynard, Nebraska to John R. and Sarah Ainley (Bailey) Meisinger. She died on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at the Louisville Care Center at the age of 100 years, 2 months, and 15 days.
Hattie married John Harold Barnes on August 18, 1938 in Sidney, Iowa. During her married life, she spent her time caring for her home and family. She was a superb seamstress and found pleasure in sewing for not only her family, but others as well. She was a very active member of both the First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's Group in Louisville. She was a delightful conversationalist and loved drawing people out to talk about their interests.
Survived by her children Dennis and wife Janice Barnes, of Louisville, NE, Joyce and husband Robert Kahland, of Glendale, AZ, stepchildren Lonnie Barnes, of Papillion, NE, and Trella Miller, of Fremont, NE, grandchildren Denise and husband Kim Woodward, of Broken Bow, NE, Cathy and husband Jimmy Parish, of El Mirage, AZ, Gary Kahland, of Phoenix, AZ, Justin and wife Jennifer Barnes, of Louisville, great grandchildren Taylor, Tanya, and Tara Woodward, Derek, and Lucy Parish, and Jaxson and Jager Barnes, along with numerous step-children and step-great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Bessie Meisinger of Springfield, NE, and Sylvia Meisinger, of Louisville, NE.
Hattie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold in 1972, brothers - Clayton, Floyd, Glen, and Milford; sisters - Viola, Mabel, and Dorothy and step-children - Harold Jr. "Bud", June Miller, Phyllis Griffin, and Marie Hansen.
