Helen Gallentine, was born November 3, 1914, in Murray, Nebraska, to Rudolph and Jessie (Schwab) Schomaker. She passed away, Sunday night, April 27, 2008, at Gretna Community Care Center, Gretna, Nebraska, at the age of 93 years, 5 months, and 24 days.

Helen married Eldon Gallentine, on October 12, 1936, in Union, Nebraska, in Pastor Taylor's Home.
Living on as a Farm Wife she worked with the Milking, raised Chickens, and in addition she raised Raised Championship Beagles.

Helen is survived by her nephews Bob Gallentine, of Arkansas, Bill Gallentine, of Lincoln, NE, Phyllis Short, of Omaha, NE, Roberta Keim, of California, Rodney Snodgrass, of North Platte, NE, Eric Schomaker, of Alpine, Utah, and Mike Schomaker, of Wichita KS.

Helen is preceded in death her parents, husband Eldon, sister Lena Snodgrass, brother David, sister Josephine, and brother Elmer


Date & Hour of **GRAVESIDE SERVICES** will be Thursday, May 1, 2008 @ 11:00 A.M. at Oak Hill Cemetery, 149 Oak Hill Road, Plattsmouth, Nebraska
