Helen was born February 16, 1919, in Memphis, Nebraska, to Alva and Ethel (Ramsey) Ziegenbein. She left us peacefully, Thursday, April 23, 2009, at the Golden Living Center, in Nebraska City, Nebraska, at the age of 90 years, 2 months, and 7 days.

Helen married Irvin Hauschild, on October 18, 1937, in Seward, Nebraska, and to this union they had 5 children, Freddi, Kenny, Lois, Billy, and Betty. She graduated from Ashland High School, in 1936, and was a member of the Center Extension Club, 4-H Leader, member of the Busy Bee's, Neighborhood Exension Club, in Ashland, NE ladies Aid, member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Weeping Water, NE.

Helen is survived by her husband Irvin, of Nebraska City, Nebraska, children Kenny & Gladys Hauschild, of Nehawka, NE, Lois & Vern McCrory, of Lincoln, NE, Billy & Cheryl Hauschild, of Weeping Water, NE, Betty & Bill Neumeister, of Weeping Water, NE, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, sister Fern Hauschild, of Ashland, NE, 2 sisters-in-law, Margaret Otto, of Ceresco, NE, and Alvera Ziegenbein, of Wahoo, NE, also survived by many neices, nephews, and cousins.

Helen is preceded in death by her infant son Freddi, parents Alva & Ethel Ziegenbein, brothers Don & Lawrence Ziegenbein, and several sister-in-laws & brother-in-laws

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Louisville, NE, Lunch, and then burial at Oakwood Cemetery, in Weeping Water, NE at 2:30 P.M., Tuesday, April 28, 2009.

Visitation will be Sunday from 12 noon until 9 P.M., and Monday from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M., the casket will be open one hour before services at the Church.

Family suggest memorials in Lieu of Flowers to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, of Weeping Water, NE, or Weeping Water Rescue Squad.
