Obituary

Helen F. Royal, 90 of Palmyra, passed away on June 2, 2017 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. She was born on February 3, 1927 to Wendelin & Frances (Gress) Pfeiffer in Nebraska City.

Helen married Joseph C. Royal on April 23, 1946 in Syracuse. She worked on the farm beside Joe for many years. Helen was a member of the altar society and was a Deanery Officer. She also belonged to the Better Halves Extension Club, American Legion Aux. in Palmyra and the Red Hats. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, gardening, flowers, and most of all her family.

Helen is survived by her Son: Larry (Gayle) Royal of Palmyra, Grandchildren: Benjamin (Jamie) Royal of York, Rebecca Bremer of Garland, TX, Adam (Kelly) Royal of Ankeny, IA; Great Grandchildren: Madelyn, Hunter & Hayden Royal, Kelsie & Abby Bremer, Mackenzie, Mason & Andrew Royal; also many nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Parents, Brothers: Ralph, Emil, Clarence & Charles and Sister: Dorothy Royal.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 5 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Douglas. Burial will be at St. Leo's Catholic cemetery.

Rosary will be held on Sunday, June 4 at 6 P.M. at the church with family greeting friends following.

Memorials are suggested to the Family's Choice.
