Helen L. Siefken, 93 of Papillion formerly Syracuse, passed away on May 12, 2016 at Papillion Manor. She was born to Herman & Mary (Weber) Rosenthal on September 20, 1922 in Cook, NE.

Helen married Edgar Bottcher on April 20, 1941 and to this union 2 sons were born Kenneth & Dennis. Edgar passed away on March 27, 1946. Helen then married Harvey Siefken on March 23, 1948 and to this union Rae Jean and Bruce were born. Helen was very active in church especially in the Women's Fellowship and quilting.

She is survived by her children: Kenneth (Roberta) Bottcher of East Moline, IL, Rae Jean (Arlen) Wallman of LaVista, Bruce (Judy) Siefken of Lewisville, TX; Grandchildren: Rhonda (Tim) Erickson, Shilah (Arthur) Martin, Marshall (Angela) Wallman, Michael (Meghan) Wallman, Christopher (Amanda) Siefken; Great Grandchildren: Aubrie Erickson, Eli Erickson, Nicholas Wallman, Tucker Wallman, Maxwell Wallman, Teanna Wallman, Jake Wallman, and Harlie Siefken; Great Great Grandchildren: Tyrese Phillips Jr, Jeremiah Price & Rylan Price; Sister-in-law: Belva Jean Rosenthal.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husbands: Edgar Bottcher and Harvey Siefken, Siblings & Spouses: Clara Moore, 1st husband: Everett Brissey, 2nd husband: Larry Moore, Christian & Francis Rosenthal, Elmer Rosenthal; Son: Dennis "Ozzie" Bottcher; Daughter-in-law Reta Bottcher; Daughter-in-law: Elizabeth Bottcher; Grandson: Monty Wallman.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday May 16 at 3:00 P.M. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse. Burial will follow at Park Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday May 15 from 1 P.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 2-4 P.M. at the funeral home.
