Helen Marie Tietgen

Helen was born on, September 7, 1928, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Joseph & Theckla (Huss) Lang. She passed away on Monday, November 01, 2010, at her home in Manley, Nebraska, at the age of 82 years, 1 month, and 25 days.

She married Don Tietgen, on April 23, 1949, at St. Rose Church, in Omaha, Nebraska. Helen loved to Cook, working at High View. For her family her Chili, Macaroni Salad will always be remembered. For the grandchildren, memories of the Animal Pancakes will always be treasured.

Helen is survived by her children, Mike Tietgen & fiancé Lucia, of Omaha, NE, Ron & Chris Tietgen, of Weeping Water, NE, Dan Tietgen, of Manley, NE, and Cindy & Steve Messoth, of Manley, NE grandchildren Rachel, Lindsey, Jammia and Matt

Helen is preceded in Death by her parents, husband Don, grandson Adam, and brother Joe

ROSARY Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 413 Elm, Louisville, NE, and Mass of the Resurrection will be Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Manley, NE, with burial at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Manley, NE. Family Suggests Memorials To Weeping Water Senior Center or Families Choice.

VISITATION will be Wednesday, November 3, 2010, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with the family present at the Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M. for the ROSARY.
