Heye was born May 16, 1912, in Sterling, Nebraska, to Eilert and Mareke (Weber) Parde. He departed this life on July 23, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse at the age of 95 years, 2 months and 7 days.
Heye married Tena Harms, January 14, 1937, at Pickerill, Nebraska, and to this union they raised 4 children, Darlene, Mary Ann, Don, and Wayne. He farmed and was a man of the earth for most of his life, he worked for the Burr Co-op after retiring from the farm. Heye's loves were his family, his Church, having a garden and canning. He loved Football and Baseball, and loved to play cards, well until he moved to the Good Samaritan Center, "they didn't know how to play right".
Heye is survived by his daughters Darlene and husband John Isaacs, of Unadilla, NE, and Mary Ann and husband Fred Hartsook, of Greenwood, NE, his sons Don and wife Linda Parde, of Syracuse, NE, and Wayne and wife Marianne Parde, of Cook, NE, 18 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren, and his brother Kenneth and wife Irene Parde, of Sterling, NE, and sister-in-laws, Leona Parde, Grace Parde, and Lenora Parde.
Heye was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, wife Tena Parde, (1987), 2 sisters, and 4 brothers.

VISITATION will be Wednesday from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M., and Thursday from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M., all at the funeral home, and the Casket will be open one hour before services at he Church.
