Isabelle L. Lindsey age 90 of Weeping Water, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Nebraska.  She was born on May 22, 1932, in Omaha, Ne to George and Pearl (Jardine) Meyer.

Isabelle was united in marriage on March 3, 1950, to Eugene W. Lindsey at the pastor's residence in Dunbar, Nebraska. Together they made their home in Weeping Water and raised four children, Eugene, Terry, Kathleen, and Kevin.  Throughout her life she worked for many years at Acco Seed and managed the restaurant at Platte River State Park for many years.  She also spent many hours babysitting and cleaning the bank.

She loved the outdoors and took a great deal of pride in her flower garden and mowing her yard.  Her greatest love was her family, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren gave her much joy.

She is survived by her children, Eugene (special friend, Patricia Puff) Lindsey of Red Oak, IA, Terry (Shari) Lindsey of Weeping Water, NE, Kathleen (Larry) Vogler of Weeping Water, NE, Kevin (Jana) Lindsey of Weeping Water, NE, grandchildren, Heath (Sheila McSorley) Lindsey, Heather Weideman, Tara (Scott) Anderson, Jeffrey (Abby) Lindsey, John (Stephanie) Lindsey, Eric (Destini) Vogler, Travis (Shauna) Vogler, Cody (Michelle) Lindsey, Kyle (Catherine) Lindsey, 24 great grandchildren, brothers, Gene Meyer of Louisville, NE, Orville Meyer of Lincoln, NE, Arvin Meyer of Louisville, NE and sister, Margaret Keckler of Weeping Water, NE.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Pearl Meyer, husband Eugene Lindsey, grandson, Scott Eugene Vogler, brothers, Donald Meyer, Linville Meyer, Leon Meyer, Kenny Meyer and Larry Meyer, sisters, Lila Bickford, Betty Lou Smith, Arlene Cook and Lucille Fleming.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 1:30 PM at the Weeping Water United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow the service in Oakwood Cemetery in Weeping Water, Nebraska.

Visitation will be Monday, December 26, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM with family greeting friends from 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
