Pvt. Isaiah Baehr age 21 of Ft. Liberty, North Carolina was born to Kris and Ashley Baehr on November 9th 2002. He passed away on December 14, 2023 in Fort Liberty, NC.
He was the second born sibling to 5 amazing kids. He and his siblings Alexia, Makaiya, Noah and Elijah grew up in Syracuse NE. Isaiah always had a big heart. He was protective, especially of his brothers, sisters and cousins. He would always stand up for anyone being bullied. In school Isaiah loved playing percussion, playing football and baseball. His smile would light up a room and he was always willing and excited to talk to anyone. In February of 2022 Isaiah joined the Army. He completed basic training, AIT and airborne school. He went on to be placed with the 6th psychological operations battalion (Airborne) at Ft. Liberty in North Carolina. Isaiah loved being Airborne and serving his country. He worked hard to make himself and his loved ones proud. Isaiah always loved with his whole heart and gave everything he did a 1000%. We love you Isaiah, and we are all so proud of you.
He is survived by his parents, Kris Baehr and Ashley Baehr, siblings, Alexia, Makaiya, Noah and Elijah, grandparents, Denise Blazek, Harry & Marianne Blazek, Jack & Deb Baehr and Connie Walters, aunts and uncles, Alysha (Codie) Willey, Adam (Hannah) Blazek, Kim (Patrick) Stahl, Cindy Albrecht, Allison Gottula, Brian (Nikki) Gordon, Casey (Kristen) Gordon, Dan (Lindsay) Gordon, Samantha Gordon and several beloved cousins.
He was preceded in death by his uncle Mike Gordon, great grandma Rosemary Summerlin, great grandparents Lorin and Nancy Schmidt and great aunt Tammy Blazek.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse, NE with Rev. Sarah Cordray officiating with burial following in Park Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church.
Memorial may be directed to the family for future designation.
