Jacqueline Sue Knake, 69 of Syracuse, passed away at home on July 3, 2017. She was born on October 22, 1947 to Robert & Margie (Baird) Thompson in Norton, KS.

Jacque married Robert Knake on November 11, 1967 in Almena, KS. She worked with Bob on the dairy farm for many years. She also worked for Wheaton's in Syracuse for 14 years. Jacque loved all animals especially Heidi and Keeley her beloved dogs. She also enjoyed her flower and vegetable garden, Sudoku, quilting and reading. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Jacque is survived by her Husband: Bob Knake of Syracuse; Sons: Dan (Tammy) Knake of Delaware, AR, Kurt (Kathy) Knake of Syracuse, Craig (Becky) Knake of Syracuse; 9 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; Sister: Shirley (Gene) Moherman of Manhattan, KS; also many nieces, nephews, family and many many friends.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Son: Steve Knake, Brother: Ronald Thompson and Sister: Betty Kent.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 7 at 10:30 A.M. at the First Lutheran Church (North Branch) in rural Avoca. Burial will be at First Lutheran cemetery (North Branch).

Visitation will be Thursday, July 6 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the Knake family for designation towards Otoe Country 4-H.
