Jacqueline H. (Vance) Petersen age 91 of Louisville, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born on January 31, 1930 in Chillicothe, Missouri to Homer & Helen (Marple) Vance.
Jackie grew up in Bellevue and graduated from Bellevue High School. She worked for the Omaha Public Power District for 8 years before moving to Louisville. She then worked as a secretary for Ash Grove Cement Company until retirement. Jackie was united in marriage to Harold Petersen on August 29, 1992 at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Throughout the years she was a faithful mother and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting with the Immanuel Quilters, and sang in the Church Choir. She was a member of the American Legion Aux and loved creating memories with her family.
Jackie is survived by her daughter,Candace (Jerry) McClun of Louisville, Grandsons Jason (Fiancé Ann Fischer) of Louisville and Aaron (Tiffany) McClun of Bellevue; Great Granddaughters Dannielle and Harper McClun of Louisville; Step-Daughter Brenda (Dave) Buckley of Omaha, Step-grandchildren Stephanie Buckley of Omaha, Kim(Matt) Briggs of Omaha, Megan Buckley of Kansas City, Missouri; sister-in-law Dorothy Grannan of LaQuinta,CA. She is also survived by nephews Richard (Betty Jo) Collins and Steven Collins of Tennessee and Ivy Fischer of Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Helen Vance, son, Michael Norlen, husband Harold Petersen, and sister Shirley Collins.
Funeral Services will be Monday, March 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Louisville, NE. A graveside service will follow on Monday at 2:00 PM at the Bellevue Cemetery in Bellevue, NE. The services will be livestreamed on the funeral home Facebook page.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home with family greeting friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Memorials may be directed to the Louisville Volunteer Fire Department or Immanuel Lutheran Church
